Compliance Liaison

Summary:

Fixed schedule, e.g., Monday-Friday 8 am - 5 pm with standard breaks.
Location: UCHealth Auxiliary Support Building, 2450 East Peoria St, Aurora CO 80014
Work Mode: 100% In-office environment
Responsibilities:
Provide real-time video remote interpretation between patients, families, and healthcare providers in the patient's preferred language.
Accurately interpret medical terminology, including anatomy, procedures, and medications.
Support effective communication in both clinical and non-clinical settings.
Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with all patient privacy policies.
Assist with the translation of written documents, as needed.
Act as a trusted cultural and linguistic resource for care teams.
Requirements :
Successful completion of a medical interpreter competency assessment (to be administered by the company).
Completion of a 40-hour medical interpreter training program (e.g., "Bridging the Gap").
Minimum of 2 years of medical interpretation experience.
Preferred Skills:
Prior Video Remote Interpretation experience.
Certified Medical Interpreter (CMI) or Certified Healthcare Interpreter (CHI) credential.
Strong bilingual communication skills and fluency in medical terminology.
Proficiency in basic computer and technology use.
Ability to exercise critical thinking and sound judgment in fast-paced environments.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
