Math Instructor (Immediate Hire)

The Department of Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics is seeking a faculty member who is passionate about teaching and mentoring students in a Christian work environment. Candidates must be able to teach a range of undergraduate mathematics courses while participating in departmental activities including curriculum development, student mentoring, committee work, and program assessment. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.

Design and teach a variety of undergraduate mathematics courses

Plan, implement, and assess classroom experiences per university policy
Serve on college and university committees
Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community
Candidates should have a Master's Degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education, with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in mathematics.

Demonstrated teaching excellence and a willingness to use active learning techniques
Evidence of a willingness to serve students, the university, and the broader community
