Job Title: Project Manager

Warehouse Equipment Project Implementation

Employment Type: Full-Time

This position will be an integral part of the sales support team, going on calls as necessary, assisting in preparing presentations, developing the best solution for a particular client based on a needs analysis, developing proposals, and managing projects and key accounts as directed. This position will work closely with Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and Salespeople.

Oversee the individual projects of the Account Manager.

Act as the liaison between the customer and the Account Manager.

Collaborate with Account Managers to evaluate customer needs, design and present the best solution to the customer.

Collaborate with Account Managers to visit customer sites and interface with appropriate customer contacts.

Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.

Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of projects.

Develop and prepare effective proposals to provide to Account/Prospect.

Interact with clients to identify and define project requirements.

Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track the progress of each open job.

Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.

Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.

Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Adhere to company project management processes.

Analyze and review the project after completion to identify improvement opportunities.

Share project results and best practices within the team and company.

Participate in internal projects as required.

Demonstrated proficiency managing moderate- to high‑complexity projects.

Manage 1-2 month install durations without assistance or supervision.

Successfully navigate permit/inspection process without assistance or supervision.

Some experience with strategic customers.

Manage projects with multiple design scopes.

Support on design/implementation calls with vendors and/or customers.

Approve vendor payments and initiate progressive customer invoicing schedule.

Highly detail-oriented, ability to manage critical deadlines.

Ability to work through project issues with customers in a timely manner.

Technically competent and proficient with various software programs: Excel, Word, Outlook, AutoCAD, Smartsheet.

In-person meetings, email, phone calls.

1-2 Years experience in an Associate Project Manager role.

Professional Qualities

Office & field-oriented position with some overnight travel to project sites required.

Overtime and weekend work will be required periodically.
