The is located in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Mid-Atlantic Health Care Network (VISN 6), Central Virginia VA Healthcare System (CVHCS), Fredericksburg Health Care Center (FXHCC) in the Environmental Management Service (EMS) in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Receiving, delivering, and putting away textiles.

Stocking toilet paper, paper towels, soap dispensers.

Monitoring phone, checking voicemail, and E-mail.

Completing shipping and receiving log.

Cleaning and ensuring the linen storage room and dock are clean/orderly.

Physical Effort Stands or walks continuously on concrete floors. In receiving and shipping, occasional lifting of bulk bundles weighing over 30 lbs. If required to sort laundry from patients with contagious diseases, protective masks, gloves, and gowns are worn. Help

Participation in the seasonal influenza program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP). It is a requirement that all HCP to receive annual seasonal influenza vaccination or obtain an exemption for medical or religious reasons.
