What We Are Looking ForThis position is responsible for providing Well Operations Engineering support for safe and efficient well work operations for Kinder Morgan’s Permian EOR fields.Completes well operations engineering assignments of a broad scope.Works directly with surveillance, development, operations, and geoscience teams.Liaison between field superintendents, supervisors and office personnel.Material management, including but not limited to, tubing and casing inventory.Develops Request for Materials (RFM) as needed, working directly with Procurement.Major Project Review (MPR) forecast development and reporting.Education:Bachelor of Science Degree in EngineeringExperience / specific knowledge:4-10 years relevant oil and gas experience w/ an emphasis on downhole operations.Good overall practical oilfield operations knowledge.Certifications, licenses, registrations:Participates in multidisciplinary team discussions in regards to field development and associated well activities.Reviews completion and workover procedures, and ensures material availability as needed.Significantly contributes to meeting business objectives by implementing field development projects.Experience in oil and gas financial management and reporting.Experience in developing technical documents such as AFEs, procedures, presentations to management, etc. (Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.Proficient in Microsoft Excel.Data management and manipulation.Non-supervisory, but expected to take leadership roles in projects.Currently living in, or willing to move to, Midland, TXWeekly travel to field location.80/20 office and job site (outside) work locationsHybrid Work ScheduleWorking after hours, nights, weekends, holidays and on-call as needed.IADC Well Control CertifiedExperience working in CO2 FloodsExperience working with Well Ops contractors in and around existing assetsWhy Join Kinder MorganKinder Morgan is a large energy infrastructure company operating in North America.
