Physician (Pathologist/Dermatopathologist)

Dermatopathologist – Altamonte Springs, FLOur laboratory located in Altamonte Springs, FL is looking to add a Dermatopathologist to a small team of two pathologists in a high volume, collaborative practice. We are seeking a candidate that is board certified in anatomic and/or clinical pathology and is board certified in dermatopathology. ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostic interpretation of all dermatopathology casesBe familiar and able to recommend clinically appropriate advanced diagnostic testing such as molecular and genetic studies.Takes initiative to improve quality in the workplace.Participates and coordinates activities of QC/QA/QI to ensure quality care and evaluates effectiveness of quality assurance policies and procedures to enhance standards and excellence of service laboratory and company.Provide advice to referring physicians regarding the clinical significance of laboratory findings.Actively builds upon education and experience through Continuing Medical Education to maintain licensure and credentials.Subspeciality Dermatopathology fellowship required2-3 years post residency experience desiredActive unrestricted license to practice in FloridaStrong customer focus and understanding of laboratory operationsAbility visually, audibly, and physically performs all job functions.Altamonte Springs, FL is a welcoming Central Florida community.
