Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position requiring at least 2 years of unit experience and a GA or compact RN license, with on-call and floating responsibilities.
Details

• Work takes place in a hospital Cath Lab/EP setting with 3 Cath Labs and 2 EP Labs
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• 12-week contract
• On-call required 1 weekend per month and 1–2 weekdays per week
• Weekend work is included as part of on-call requirements
• Floating required within the facility per scope of practice and to an affiliated hospital as needed
• Local candidates are accepted for this position

Requirements

Active GA or compact RN license required
Copies of all relevant certifications required for consideration
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab/EP RN experience required
Two supervisory references (manager level or above) are highly preferred; charge nurse references are not accepted
Additional Information

First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
No scheduling requests or alternate shift arrangements are permitted; the posted shift is firm
Travel pairs may not be assigned to the same shift on the same unit
Travelers must have been away from all facilities within this health system for at least 1 full year before returning as a traveler
RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days and may not be requested during the first week of the assignment
Holiday coverage is required: if 1 or 2 major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO permitted; if 3 major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler must work 2 of them and may request 1 holiday off for approval
Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday (counted as 1), Christmas Eve/Christmas Day (counted as 1), and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day (counted as 1)
Full compliance with onboarding requirements is required prior to the start date
