12-Hour NOC

This is a night shift position with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 4:1 in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, covering every other weekend and holidays. While there are no on-call requirements, overtime is available for interested staff members. Assess patients to determine their mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Meet core measure responsibilities related to patient care.
Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
Current Illinois Registered Nurse license.
Experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar environment is preferred.

Management is accessible and visible to night shift staff at least twice per week to address any needs or concerns.
Acuity and Patient Diversity
The acuity of patients may fluctuate, with a wide variety of cardiac and respiratory cases managed within the unit.
This position is located in a healthcare facility in Southern Illinois.
