PhlebotomistPride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client's healthcare facility in Reston VA.Job Details: Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM (40 hours per week) Location: Reston VA 20190 Job Type: Local contract Contract Length: 3 months + Pay Range: $24.51 - $26.27 per hour *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.Duties:Performed venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, geriatric, and adult blood collections while ensuring patient safety and comfort.Collected, labeled, processed, and prepared specimens for laboratory testing, maintaining specimen integrity and following quality standards.Traveled between multiple Patient Service Centers (PSCs), physician offices, and client locations to provide phlebotomy support as needed.Delivered excellent patient care while working independently in a fast-paced environment, adhering to all safety, infection control, and organizational protocols.Requirements:Education: High school diploma or equivalent - REQUIREDLicense(s): preferredCertification(s): preferredYears of experience: Three years phlebotomy experience requiredSkills/Specialties/Technology: Venipuncture & Capillary Blood Collection, Specimen Processing, Labeling & Chain of Custody, HIPAA Compliance & Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR)Equal Employment OpportunityPrideGlobal and its affiliates are an equal opportunity employer.
