General Production Worker

The General Production Worker inspects, tests, cleans, and repackages returned products to ensure they meet quality and functional standards before being reissued. This role involves hands-on work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment, focusing on product functionality, cleanliness, and proper packaging.

Responsibilities

Inspect returned products carefully to identify any visible or functional defects.

Test products to ensure they power on and off correctly and that all features and functions operate as intended.

Use testing equipment and tools to verify product performance and detect potential issues.

Clean products thoroughly to meet quality and presentation standards.

Repackage cleaned and tested products so they are ready for reissue and distribution.

Follow established production, quality, and safety procedures throughout all tasks.

Handle general production and packing duties as needed to support overall workflow.

Maintain a clean and organized work area in the production and warehouse space.

Essential Skills

At least 6 months of production or warehouse experience.

Ability to perform general labor tasks in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Experience with basic testing of products or equipment to check functionality.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Strong attention to detail when inspecting, testing, cleaning, and packaging products.

Capability to stand for the entire shift while performing repetitive tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in general production or general labor roles.

Experience with packing and packaging processes in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.

Familiarity with using basic test equipment to check product performance.

Comfort working with cleaning materials and tools to prepare products for reissue.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Joliet, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
