Executive Assistant To The Chief Executive (CEO)

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and resilient Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the Chief Executive Officer of a growing home health organization. The ideal candidate is confident, adaptable, and thrives in a demanding environment where priorities can shift quickly. This individual serves as a trusted partner to the CEO, helping maximize efficiency while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Manage and maintain the CEO's complex calendar, appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.

Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications on behalf of the CEO.

Screen phone calls, emails, and correspondence, ensuring urgent matters receive immediate attention.

Prepare meeting agendas, presentations, reports, and other executive-level documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Draft professional correspondence, memos, and communications.

Organize and maintain confidential files, records, and documentation.

Assist with special projects, strategic initiatives, and administrative tasks as assigned.

Review, analyze, and compare contracts, agreements, and business documents, identifying key differences and potential concerns for CEO review.

Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting senior executives or C-level leadership.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills.

Ability to prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Legal assistant, paralegal, contract administration, or other legal background.

Experience reviewing and comparing contracts, vendor agreements, and legal documents.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field.

Builds positive relationships with employees, vendors, clients, and community partners.

Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work.

Occasional lifting of files or office materials up to 20 pounds.

Ability to move throughout the office as needed.

Full-time position

In-person Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. No remote/hybrid options.

Occasional evening hours may be required based on business needs.

Flexibility to work weekends, when available, is preferred to support executive priorities, special projects, or urgent business needs.

Occasional travel to our other locations in Redding and Sacramento.

Salary $31.00–$40.00 / hour (DOE) Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, education, legal/contract review experience, and overall qualifications.
