In this role, you will provide technical leadership, mentor engineering teams, and serve as a trusted advisor on challenging projects that create resilient, sustainable, and high-performing environments. Create and nurture client relationships and lead project delivery for MEP/Facilities opportunities. Review proposals to ensure they follow firm policies, industry standards, and all applicable regulations. Develop systems and studies ranging from basic to high complexity, including HVAC master plans, HVAC and plumbing systems, mechanical systems (co-generation), and energy efficiency or green building solutions.
Review draft designs for compliance with federal, state and local regulations and sign off on completed designs. Ensure that firm policies and practices are followed on all designs.
Provide technical guidance and training to junior team members. May supervise the work of junior engineers on project work.
#Expert knowledge of 3D and 4D design software (such as CAD tools) and best practices.
Expert knowledge of engineering design principles.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office tools like Excel and Word.
Expert knowledge of federal, state and local regulations.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural or Chemical Engineering, or in Engineering Technology or related discipline. Professional engineering (PE) license.
~Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.

In addition to geographic location, a candidate's salary is determined by several other factors including, but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, relevant work experience, skills, required certifications, and education/training.
