Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a Pediatric Surgical Unit. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a high-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to pediatric surgical patients in an acute care setting.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate on patient care plans.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards of care.
Engage in patient and family education regarding care procedures and health maintenance.
Schedule
This position involves a combination of 8-hour and 12-hour evening shifts, with the requirement to participate in on-call duties. Rotational coverage for weekend and holiday shifts is expected.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Current BLS certification.
Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Experience in a pediatric surgical or critical care setting preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
