Bilingual School Community Liaison

Job Description The Bilingual Community Liaison provides liaison between home and school, and serves as a resource to parents and staff. Provides special help to bilingual students and parents by interpreting, reading, writing, and translating the desired/needed language. Provides clerical support as directed by the site administrator. Works under supervision of the school principal and in cooperation with the teaching staff.

High school diploma or equivalent

Fluency in speaking, reading and writing in desired/needed language

Passing score on bilingual skills test (if available)

More than one year of general clerical and typing experience

Basic Computer, Internet Basics, and Using Email

Equivalent combination of education/training/experience
