Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit team. This role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Unit Information
Patient Ratios: 1:3 AM, 1:4 AM, 1:4 PM, and 1:5 PM (with patient care technicians available)
Primarily RN-based care with unit secretaries scheduled from 7 AM to 7 PM for support
Equipment: Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including vasoactive drips.
Engage in bedside shift reporting, hourly rounding, and daily leadership rounds.
Participate in patient care planning and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Full-Time Staff: 36 hours/week with every 3rd weekend rotation
Part-Time Staff: 48 hours/week with every 3rd weekend rotation
PRN Staff: Flexible scheduling with weekend shifts required
Rotating holiday schedule
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a similar setting
Positive attitude and commitment to patient-centered care
Charcoal grey scrub tops with charcoal grey or black scrub bottoms, and optional unit-specific jackets in black or charcoal grey.
Recognized as a Unit of Distinction Honorable Mention in 2018.
Floating Policy
Floats are expected to cover shifts in designated units based on staffing needs.
