This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
07:00 AM - 05:30 PM, 10 hours per day, 4 days a week. On-call is required for 10 days a month, including 4 weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) traveler who is prepared to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in catheterization lab procedures and possess the ability to work collaboratively with both patients and medical staff.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the catheterization lab.
Assist physicians during catheterizations and other interventional procedures.
Monitor patient status pre-, intra-, and post-procedure to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Educate patients and their families about procedures and post-procedure care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care delivery.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Emergency care or critical care experience preferred.
Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are required.
Fit test and health statement to be completed prior to onboarding.
Immunizations, including Influenza, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella, must be up to date.
