At Micro Machine & Electronics, this position plays a key role in producing critical, tight-tolerance components where quality, traceability, and craftsmanship matter. This is not repetitive production — it’s hands-on machining that keeps experienced machinists engaged.
---Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or CNC vertical mills
Program, load, and adjust CNC programs at the machine
Machine high-mix, low-volume parts
Perform in-process and first-article inspection
Work with a wide variety of materials and part geometries
Machines, Controls & Software CNC Turning
CNC Milling
CAM Software
SolidWorks CAM
Inspection Tools
Surface roughness and hardness testing equipment
---5–10 years CNC machining experience
Strong experience with CNC lathes and/or CNC mills
CAM programming experience
Experience with power generation or defense-related components
Interest in growing into a lead machinist role
---Materials You’ll Work With Carbon steel
High-performance alloys (including Inconel )
