Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Telemetry RN for a unit split into two areas: the "300 unit" (14 beds, more surgical/ortho/medical focus, may receive heparin) and the "main unit" (44 beds, more cardiac-focused, step-down acuity). Common diagnoses on the main unit include post-cath, post-pacemaker, post-PCI, TAVR (day 1+), CABG (day 1+), sepsis, and respiratory distress. Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4. Nurses are responsible for reading their own cardiac strips (Phillips telemetry system with monitor tech support).
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience
Active ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications (required)
