$22.30 per hour, including $1 shift premium, paid weekly!
This role is responsible to complete orders by selecting products from the warehouse racks and to assemble, palletize and/or shrink wrap products/pallets for customer orders. An Order Selector may be required to use a variety of powered industrial equipment and may be required to work in dry or cooled product areas including refrigerated and freezer compartments.
Locate and lift cases, boxes, bags, and/or pallets of dry groceries, frozen foods, dairy products, produce, poultry, fish, beef, pork and related products in specific quantities for delivery to customers by using order sheets or an audio headset.
Operate powered industrial equipment (e.g. single and double pallet jacks).
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including conducting inspections of powered industrial equipment using a safety checklist.
Report damaged products, quality issues, and out-of-stock/low volume products.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Prior experience operating power industrial equipment preferred.
Must perform assigned tasks accurately while meeting production standards in a fast-paced warehouse operation.
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures.

The cases are located on pallets on the floor and on racks and are lifted from various heights ranging from 4 inches to 97 inches from the floor. The employee can use a pick tool for assistance with cases on pallets and racks. The General Warehouse employee can handle 160-200 cases per hour.
The position requires occasionally ascending and descending a step with a height of 19 inches to enter and operate the forklift. The space for sitting in the forklift has a height of 38 inches and a width of 24 inches.
Occasionally entering a space with limited headroom at a height of 46 to 49 inches from the floor to retrieve cases. Constant walking to retrieve cases throughout the work shift with frequent sitting to operate the forklift.
Forklift use varies by position

Employees must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned, and must be able to work in the condition specified for 8-12 hours shift as assigned. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
