Warehouse / Order Puller position

PURPOSE OF JOB:Responsible for timely and accurate pulling and return of inventorySCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm or 12pm-9pmJOB DUTIES:Accurately pull bolts needed to fill orders and deliver to cutting areaTroubleshooting the completion of incomplete orders before the end of your shiftReturn materials to the proper location in order to maintain integrity of inventory systemRestock inventory from back warehouse as requiredStraighten bolts and organize pieces to keep all inventory neatLocate bolts and items that are misplacedSpecific responsibilities such as shipping orders, completing orders on the hold shelf, fixing irons and electric cutters, and maintaining the organization and order of the storage warehouse may be assigned as necessarySpecial warehouse projects as neededMaintain neat and orderly work areasGeneral housekeeping as required to maintain a safe workplaceEnsure that errors are minimal, and the frequency meets within acceptable guidelines.Achieve designated individual and/or group shipping quotas. These may be daily and/or hourly quotas.Other responsibilities as assigned, including, but not limited to, working in alternative departments as needed.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma or equivalentMust be able to pass background check and drug testKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:Reading and comprehending customer orders, policies and proceduresAcute attention to detail and problem-solving skillsProficient with basic computer applicationsBasic math (division, addition, subtraction) to calculate yardage and order amountsSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:NonePHYSICAL DEMANDS:Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials.Regularly required to sit or stand, bend and reach.The employee must be able to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 120 minutes.The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:The use of Personal Protective Equipment is required per the Safety Manual.Fat Quarter Shop is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
