Elizabeth Physicians is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join our expanding, high-performing hospital medicine team. As one of the region's leading physician-led organizations, we deliver 24/7 care to more than 500 acutely ill patients across four hospitals-and we're looking for a nocturnist who shares our commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care . The nocturnist will work 7 pm - 7 am , partnering closely with our experienced nocturnist APP team to manage admissions and provide high-quality inpatient care across med-surg, TCU, and medical ICU units.
Lead the admission process for patients requiring hospitalization, ensuring timely, thorough evaluation and safe transitions of care.
Initiate and manage evidence-based treatment plans, including pharmacologic therapies and coordination of specialty consultations.
Collaborate with a diverse team of specialists, nurses, and APPs to deliver seamless, multidisciplinary care.
Utilize strong clinical judgment to navigate complex medical decision-making in the acute care setting.
MD or DO with completion of an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency.
Eligibility for Kentucky medical licensure.
Strong communication skills, clinical confidence, and a commitment to delivering exceptional inpatient care.
