Occupational Therapist - Primary CareThis role involves providing therapy services to school-age children in a hybrid setting in New York, NY. The position is contract-based with specific weekday hours. The therapist will work closely with educators and families to support children's development and compliance with educational and healthcare standards.Requirements:Provide appropriate treatment to school-age children as outlined in IEP goals.Communicate regularly with teachers and parents about children's progress.Act as a liaison with higher education institutions for clinical training.Coordinate completion and collection of all OT reports and goals.Ensure compliance with regulatory paperwork and documentation.Assist in researching and ordering new equipment and supplies.Conduct OT evaluations as requested.Qualifications:Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from a nationally accredited college or university.Experience with children with Autism/PDD and other developmental disabilities.New York State Licensed Occupational Therapist.Must meet Medicaid eligibility standards.Willingness to complete Personalized System of Instruction (PSI) training modules.Ability to provide direct occupational therapy services to students with disabilities.
