Your Specific Responsibilities This position is assigned to the Operations and Management Consultant II-SES to perform chair-side assistance to the dentist. This position requires close interaction between patients, the dentist, and other dental staff. The assistant must be competent in assisting with preventive, therapeutic and surgical clinical procedures (i.e. dental prophylaxis, dental sealants, dental restorations, and dental extractions). Degree/License/Certification: Must have a High School Diploma or its equivalent. Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, Radiology Certificate, Certification in Basic Life Support.

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Skilled in placing dental sealants

Ability to assist the dentist with chairside dental procedures.

Ability to prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.

Must be willing to physically come in the office to perform the duties & responsibilities of the positions

Must have Expanded Functions Dental Assisting Certificate

Must have Florida Dental Radiography Certificate

Must have expereince placing dental sealants

Preferred - Experience working with children

Computer knowledge (Outlook, HMS)

Bi-lingual English/Spanish

Graduate from a formal accredited dental assisting school, Six months dental assisting experience.
