Holyoke Medical Center is a proud 198-bed community hospital that has served the healthcare needs of the pioneer valley for over 125 years. Our laboratory team has an exciting opportunity for a Phlebotomist who believes in our Lab’s Mission Statement of working collaboratively to ensure quality results for every patient every time. Duties include performing blood collection procedures on inpatients, outpatients, and home care patients of all ages including newborns and children. This is at an off-site location and includes a rotation at the Medical Center. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; proficiency in the use of computers; two years of hospital phlebotomy experience including registering patients, or completion of phlebotomy training at an approved school. A passion for caring about a community through quality work in a stand-alone hospital lab. A willingness to offer new ideas to the team to help with our culture of continuous improvement.
