Nye Health Services is seeking a compassionate and dependable Medication Aide to join our evening team. In this role, you will support residents by safely administering medications, assisting with daily care needs, and helping create a positive, resident-centered environment. This position plays an important role in ensuring our residents receive exceptional service and personalized care each day.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies
Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns to the nurse promptly
Accurately document medication administration and resident care tasks
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors
Communicate effectively with nurses, caregivers, residents, and family members
Support resident dignity, independence, and quality of life through compassionate care
Follow all state regulations, infection control procedures, and company policies
Current 40-hour Medication Aide certification in the state of Nebraska required
Current CPR and First Aid certification required, or the ability and willingness to obtain within 30 days
Previous long-term care or assisted living experience preferred
