Maintenance Facilities Technician
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Facilities Technician to troubleshoot, support, and repair all production and plant machinery. This role involves coordinating and executing scheduled system inspections and upkeep, troubleshooting facility systems, and maintaining steam, heating, cooling, and water treatment setups. The position also includes facilities maintenance duties, such as carpentry and electrical work.
Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, support, and repair production and plant machinery.
Coordinate and execute scheduled system inspections and upkeep.
Troubleshoot facility systems to ensure optimal performance.
Maintain steam, heating, cooling, and water treatment setups.
Perform facilities maintenance, including carpentry and electrical tasks.
Essential Skills

Proficiency in electrical, facilities, and carpentry work.
Experience in building maintenance and troubleshooting.
Ability to maintain and troubleshoot steam, heating, cooling, and water treatment systems.
Knowledge of pneumatics, HVAC, plumbing, hydraulics, steam, and preventive maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience as a maintenance technician is advantageous.
Proven ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment.

Work Environment
The role is based in a heavy manufacturing environment, exposed to high heat temperatures. The work schedule includes shifts from 10am-6pm Friday-Monday, 6am-2:30pm, or 2pm-10:30pm. Additional shifts may include Mon & Fri: 8 am - 6:30 pm and Sat & Sun: 4 am - 2:30 pm, with opportunities for overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lynwood, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $45.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
