WHAT YOU’LL DOOwn hardware from concept generation to real world useServe as a key part of tight-knit product teamWork with customers to understand real battlefield challengesDesign novel hardware for those mission sets - from the ground upUse engineering first-principles, analysis, and testing to ensure your designs will survive battlefield conditionsGet hands-on to build prototypes and first articlesTravel to exercises and work alongside warfighters to support and collect feedback on our productsIterate on your designs and work with our manufacturing team to build and deliver them at scaleREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSDemonstrated ability to design, prototype, and ship hardwarePast record of design ownership in a team setting (professional or otherwise)High competence with, and fluid use of, engineering first principles8+ years of professional mechanical engineering experienceCAD skills (any platform) and ability to make high quality engineering drawingsDemonstrated hands-on fabrication skillsBS, M.Eng, MS or PhD in an engineering fieldMust be a U.S. export controlled information or facilitiesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience in NX/TeamcenterAbility to integrate electronic components into mechanical designs (motors, controllers, sensors etc.)Experience with machining, sheet metal, composites, and 3D printingKnowledge of static, dynamic, or thermal analysis methods and use in ANSYSActive Top Secret Security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain oneUS Salary Range$150,000—$194,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
