About the Role

As a Water Resources Engineer, you will support the planning, design, and delivery of a wide range of municipal water and infrastructure projects. Working alongside experienced engineers and project managers, you will play a key role in developing engineering solutions that improve water systems and community resilience.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of water resources and municipal infrastructure projects

Support project planning, analysis, and execution alongside senior engineers

Prepare technical reports, calculations, and engineering documentation

Perform hydraulic and hydrologic analysis to support design solutions

Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and public agencies to deliver projects

Ensure designs meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards

Contribute to problem-solving and development of practical engineering solutions

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline

Minimum of 4 years of experience in water resources or municipal engineering

Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or actively PE licensed in North Carolina

Experience working with municipalities or public-sector clients is advantageous

Familiarity with standard engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar)

Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
