Manufacturing Engineer Job in Long Island, NYDirect hire salary range: $70,000-95,000 with overtime availability. Specific responsibilities of the manufacturing engineer job in Long Island, NY:Develop Bill of MaterialsDevelop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods.Prepare estimates of production times, labor requirements, equipment, materials and related costs to provide information for management decision.Use computer-aided design (CAD) software, preferably Catia V5, to create 3D models from 2D drawings and draw up manufacturing plans.Generate CAD drawings and product structures to accurately match and clearly communicate customer requirements.Define manufacturing tolerances.Support shop and subcontractors regarding engineering concerns.Desire experience of the manufacturing engineer job in Long Island, NY:Minimum five (5) years manufacturing engineering experience from a related manufacturerAssociate's Degree minimum with Bachelor's Degree, Engineering preferredProficient with CAD software performing mechanical design, we use Catia V5Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing TechniquesProficient in MS OfficeERP System experience, we use Epicor 10Excellent problem solving, multi-tasking, and communication skillsComprehensive benefits package which includes Medical, Vision, Dental, and 401K.
