Weekend Licensed Practical Nurse-Home Healthcare

LPN Profession: LVN / LPN Specialty: Medical Surgical

The role involves working in a medical surgical unit. Shifts are from 7 PM to 7 AM. Every other weekend and holiday coverage is required. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6. This is a complex care unit for medical, orthopedic overflow, and long-term patients. Floating to other units may be required based on skillset. Other clinical skills include telemetry monitoring, wound care, and trach management. The environment supports interdisciplinary collaboration with teams such as physical therapy and respiratory services.
