Part-Time LVN Shift Care

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Part‑time, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm with rotating weekends.

The Meadows Psychiatric Center is a 119‑bed inpatient behavioral health facility with numerous outpatient programs that span the continuum of care. The Meadows provides comprehensive care to children through adults.

LPN Role / Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit under the direction of the Nurse Manager or DON.

The Licensed Practical Nurse facilitates medication administration activities in accordance with safe medication practices, including patient education.

The Licensed Practical Nurse responds to all crisis/emergency events to direct staff and ensure patient safety.

Administers medication under the supervision of Charge RN.

In‑house Psychiatric Nurse Residency Transition‑to‑Practice Orientation (Could earn 20 CEUs)

Valid Pennsylvania LPN License

Interest in Psychiatric Nursing

Previous Psych Nursing experience preferred but not required as we provide on‑the‑job training and education
