Who We Are: PTSMC is Connecticut’s largest private‑practice physical therapy provider, with 37 locations statewide serving more than 35,000 patients annually. Since 2000, President and physical therapist Alan Balavender has grown the company using a unique partnership model that empowers clinicians to own and operate their own practices—more than 20 have done so and counting.
