Emergency Room Nurse (Day and Night Shift)

Registered Nurse Emergency Department
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 12 Weeks Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Emergency Department License: RN License Required Certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - At least 3-5 years of Emergency Department experience in an acute care hospital Description: The emergency department has 36 beds and is staffed by a diverse team. Day shift typically includes 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters. Night shift patient ratios are 4:1, with critical care patients having a 1:1 or 2:1 ratio. Essential equipment includes Phillips EMR and Meditech. The unit serves as a stroke and STEMI center. Charge nurse experience and prior travel/interim experience in California are preferred. Candidates without emergency department experience will not be considered for the role. Work every other weekend is required. Medical, dental & vision insurance
