Dental Hygienist

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.

Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to inform treatment plans.

Take digital X-rays while adhering to infection control standards and radiation safety protocols.

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health.

Manage patient records accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems (Dentrix), ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Review documentation for completeness and accuracy, including medical records and treatment notes.

Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment following infection control guidelines and OSHA standards.

full-time $40 - $50 per hour

Licensed dental hygienist

X-ray / Radiography Certification

Current and active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.

Strong knowledge of dental terminology, human anatomy, and infection control principles.

Expertise in operating medical imaging equipment for dental X-rays.

Prior experience working in a dental clinic or specialized periodontal office setting.

Proficiency or familiarity with the Dentrix software system for scheduling, documentation, and record keeping.

Experience in medical scheduling and reviewing clinical documentation.

Experience with health education and counseling in a healthcare setting.
