The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on facilities, electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. This role involves more complex inspections and repairs, as well as guiding junior technicians.Responsibilities:Perform advanced maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.Carry out detailed inspections to identify and address potential issues before they cause breakdowns.Provide guidance and support to junior maintenance technicians.Keep comprehensive records of all maintenance activities and repairs.Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and operational standards.Qualifications You Must Have:Perform advanced maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.Carry out detailed inspections to identify and address potential issues before they cause breakdowns.Provide guidance and support to junior maintenance technicians.Keep comprehensive records of all maintenance activities and repairs.Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and operational standards.High school diploma or GED equivalent.1+ years of experience in a related field.Proficient in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.Experience with safe use of tools and equipment.Certification in a relevant technical field (e.g., HVAC, electrical).Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).Ability to drive a forklift.Ability to work on-site.Ability to stand and walk for most of the work shift.Manual dexterity to handle tools and equipment.Ability to travel as required.This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs.SNC offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.Security Clearance.
