American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - OR Circulator for a Days position requiring 2+ years of OR experience and multi-specialty expertise.
Details

Surgical Department with 7 operating room suites
Full spectrum of surgical specialties represented, except open-heart surgery
Uses Paragon EMR
Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM
Rotating on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage required
Requirements

• Active MI RN license required at time of submission
• Compact license not accepted
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• 2+ years of OR circulating experience required
• Experience required in Ortho, General, GYN, Urology, and Neuro surgical specialties
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application required

Additional Information

Deliver quality nursing care through utilization of the nursing process
Collaborate with other healthcare team members to maintain professional nursing standards
Carry out functions according to medical center policy and professional/regulatory guidelines
Hospital-provided scrubs required
Local candidates within a 35-mile radius are eligible for local traveler rates
No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
Full-time McLaren employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment
