Work with Electrical Engineers and build Leaders to correct any problems with design of the machine/controls.
Wiring of panels, J-boxes for sub-assemblies, final assemblies and any other Electrical task for the job.
Assist in disassembly, packing and loading of machines for shipment.
Follow good housekeeping practices throughout the plant.
Complete as required in process QC check sheets.
Complete as required QC audits.
Provide feedback on job status to Mechanical Assembly Leader.
Order material and follow-up with receiving when required.
Assist in start-up/de-bug of equipment.
Recommend as appropriate work methods and/or materials that will improve existing designs.
Travel as needed to assist in installations, de-bug, tryout, or problem solving at customer locations.
Recommend, initiate, and follow-up as needed on engineering changes and document according to ECO procedures.
Work on continuous improvement projects and special assignments as needed.
Provide training and assistance to new employees
Job Requirements Education: High School Diploma required.
Journeyman’s card or Journeyman status preferred
Experience: 5+ years minimum experience in panel build, field wiring, de-bug.
