Job Summary
We are hiring immediately for full‑time DISHWASHER positions at Cranbrook Schools, 39221 Woodward Avenue, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304. Online applications only.

Position Details

Location: Cranbrook Schools - 39221 Woodward Avenue, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304

Schedule: Full‑time shifts: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and 11:30 AM to 8 PM. Details to be discussed during interview.

Requirements: Prior dishwashing experience preferred.

Pay: $17.00 per hour, fixed pay rate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on a conveyor for the dishwashing machine, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.

Wash pots, pans and trays according to assigned procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.

Polish silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth as assigned, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.

Ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures.

Maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.

Keep the dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.

Sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.

Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans.

Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.

Help load and unload supplies and product.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Because this position requires you to perform services in an educational facility, there may be periods when the Company does not require you to perform work (such as during winter and summer breaks). Any such period will be unpaid and deemed a temporary layoff. However, depending on business needs, you may be required to work year‑round, potentially at a different location during break periods.
