General Maintenance Repair Tech Senior

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join on of our clients team at (2) properties in Shakopee, MN (55379). The ideal candidate will have general maintenance knowledge, be self-motivated, be able to organize multiple tasks throughout the day and is self-sufficient. This role is contract – expected to go 30-90 days in length but could become permanent for the right candidate.

This role will be working with (2) communities – 1 luxury and 1 affordable with 160 units combined.

Schedule: Monday – Friday – 8AM – 5PM.

Provide a variety of skilled building maintenance including repairs to sinks, windows, floors, and other parts of the building.

Preparation of vacant units for occupancy which may include cleaning responsibilities.

Install, repair (including soldering) and maintain various plumbing; perform metal fabrication and welding.

Installation and repair of major and minor appliances (e.g. washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwashers, etc.).

Troubleshoot maintenance issues, diagnose problems, replace and/or repair parts, test and make necessary adjustments to ensure issues are resolved.

Complete minor work orders such as snake toilets/drains, repair/replace leaking faucets, remove/replace caulking, replace different components of toilets, adjust/replace door closures, and replace locks, deadbolts, and passage locks.

Always demonstrate courteous and efficient customer service.

2 years’ experience in residential maintenance luxury and affordable experience is highly preferred.
