Estimator / Junior Estimator - Construction

We specialize in full‑service mechanical solutions which include engineering, coordination, prefabrication assembly, construction, service, and maintenance.

Review bid documents to determine the extent of the work scope.

Provide quantitative take‑offs either manually or with QuoteExpress On‑Screen for equipment, materials, and fixtures.

Contact suppliers for cost information and material availability.

Properly secure and prevent access to confidential business materials.

Monday-Friday; Possess strong interpersonal skills - contacting vendors, subcontractors, clients, and the ability to resolve conflicts professionally and independently or with management assistance.

Strong customer service and negotiation skills; Effectively communicate in English orally and in writing.

HS diploma, GED, or a four‑year degree in Construction Management or related field strongly preferred; Strong arithmetic skills for quantitative analysis.

Basic computer skills: Word, Outlook, Excel (basic formulas), and office equipment.

Fundamental understanding of mechanical and/or plumbing materials and principles.

Physical ability to sit, stand, bend, walk, and remain in static positions for the duration of a shift.

Physical ability to lift 5 to 50 pounds with or without assistance.

Deal with internal and external customers in a friendly, professional, and ethical manner.

Manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Work under the general supervision of a Senior Estimator.

Work environment: office with possible site visits.
