Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) role based in Bloomington, Minnesota.

The COTA will work closely with our occupational therapist and integrated care team to help implement individualized treatment plans focused on functional rehabilitation, spine strengthening, pain reduction, mobility, and improved quality of life. This role is especially important within our MedX spinal rehabilitation program, one of the specialized services that makes our clinic unique in the region.

Daily responsibilities include assisting patients with therapeutic exercise and functional rehabilitation activities, supporting safe and effective use of MedX spinal rehabilitation equipment, documenting patient progress, preparing treatment areas and equipment, educating patients on home care and exercise programs, and helping create a positive, organized, and patient-centered clinic experience.

Qualifications Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and active Minnesota OTA licensure, or eligibility for Minnesota licensure.

Foundational clinical skills in occupational therapy, rehabilitation, therapeutic exercise, and patient care.

Interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, spine care, functional recovery, and wellness.

Ability to work collaboratively with occupational therapists, chiropractic providers, rehabilitation staff, and other members of the care team.

Previous experience in outpatient rehabilitation, musculoskeletal care, spine-focused rehab, or wellness settings is preferred but not required.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records, or willingness to learn.

CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain within an agreed timeframe.
