As a Security Officer Access Control in Mira Loma, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Access Control Officer at a retail location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and maintain a professional, welcoming presence for employees, visitors, and customers. You will communicate clearly, document security-related activity, and help deter incidents through attentive access-control practices. Position Type: Part Time
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail team members by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain visitor and delivery records in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting relevant details.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Maintain professional communication with store personnel, vendors, and visitors while supporting a welcoming retail environment.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
