Construction Carpenter (part-time)

Builds, installs or maintains components, woodwork, casework and furniture at Coors Field and McGregor Square. Performs ceiling, wall and flooring repairs. Works with the Manager of Engineering to prioritize the carpenter and building maintenance requests so they are completed in a timely manner.

Performs layout and framing work; installs, tapes and finishes drywall.

Measures, cuts and shapes wood, plastic, laminate and other materials using hand tools, machines or power saws.

Completes flooring repairs, including tile, carpet, rubber, and re‑staining and refinishing of materials.

Repaints miscellaneous millwork around Coors Field or McGregor Square.

Builds or repairs cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors or other wooden fixtures using woodworking machines, hand tools or power tools.

Designs and installs cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall and insulation.

Works on preventative maintenance items around Coors Field and McGregor Square, including repairing ceiling tiles, patching/painting walls, flooring repair, and millwork repairs.

Handles specialty projects requiring measurement, material ordering, scheduling and execution of carpentry installations in a timely manner.

Contributes to an accident‑free work environment by complying with all safety measures of equipment and workmanship.

Carpenter assignments are conducted at Coors Field and McGregor Square via work orders or PMs through the Angus work order system.

Work is assigned by verbal or written orders and is carried out in accordance with standard carpentry trade practices.

Exercises independent judgment in times of immediate need or emergency situations.

Maintains inventory of supplies and orders from suppliers.

Clears and maintains all equipment and work areas.

High School Diploma or GED.

At least 3 years experience in maintenance or construction as a carpenter.

Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF software (preferred).

Ability to use a cell phone to clock in, clock out and receive work orders.

Competence with tape measure, level, laser level, table saw, sander, hammer and other carpentry tools.

Ability to operate forklift, lifts, carts and other equipment used in building trades.

Customer‑service oriented with strong customer service skills.

Average 28 hours per week during traditional hours Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm. Schedule may involve shorter daily hours or three full days.

Lifting and carrying heavy equipment, tools and materials (up to 50 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 75 lbs).

Frequent use of ladders, scaffolding and lifts to access elevated work areas.

Standing and walking for long periods, sometimes on uneven or outdoor terrain, to perform inspections and repairs across various areas of the property.

Walking on hard surfaces, grass or gravel while carrying tools and materials.

Manipulating small parts and components in confined or hard‑to‑reach spaces.

Seeing clearly, reading gauges, inspecting equipment and completing tasks precisely.

Hearing and understanding verbal instructions, warning signals and environmental sounds.

Indoor (offices, mechanical rooms, hallways, etc.).

Outdoor (rooftops, parking lots, grounds, etc.) High and low temperatures, dusty or noisy environments, and near chemicals or other potentially hazardous materials.

Regular exposure to all weather conditions, both extreme cold and heat.
