HR Generalist/Employee Relations/Payroll

HR Coordinator
The HR Coordinator supports the day-to-day functions of Human Resources and serves as a resource for employees throughout the employment lifecycle. This position assists with onboarding, payroll and benefits administration, employee records, compliance, and offboarding while ensuring HR processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, I-9/E-Verify, and required employment documentation.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and personnel files.
Serve as a point of contact for routine employee questions regarding HR policies, payroll, benefits, PTO, and company procedures.
Process approved employee changes, including compensation, position, supervisor, status, and personal information updates.
Assist with payroll preparation, employee changes, bonuses, deductions, and payroll-related questions.
Support benefits enrollment, qualifying life events, terminations, and open enrollment.
Coordinate employee offboarding and separation documentation.
Maintain HR compliance records, required training, employee acknowledgments, and other documentation.
Prepare and maintain employee rosters, headcount reports, and other HR reports.
Assist HR leadership with employee communications, special projects, and other HR initiatives.
Escalate sensitive employee relations, disciplinary, compensation, and policy matters to HR leadership.
Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of HR or related administrative experience preferred.
• Experience with HRIS/payroll systems; ADP experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in government contracting or supporting a geographically dispersed workforce is a plus.
