Phoenixville Hospital - Tower Health
Medical Laboratory Scientist needed for PRN night shift at Phoenixville Hospital. Hours: 10:30pm-7am with 1 weekend per month and 1 winter and 1 summer holiday required.
The MLS obtains or receives specimens, performs clinical laboratory tests by standardized procedures, understands method principles, performs quality control, performs preventive maintenance, and interprets results accurately, acceptably, and within critical limits. The MLS works independently, organizes work to meet established deadlines, and validates all data obtained.
Night Shift Hours
Hours are 10:30pm-7am with 1 weekend per month and 1 winter and 1 summer holiday required.
Bachelor's degree in clinical/medical laboratory science or equivalent; or completion of a Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science program; or MT-HEW certification will be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
Computer skills to include use and navigation of laboratory information systems.
