A Housekeeper must ensure he/she follows the company mission statement and values.Maintain a high standard of excellenceStrip units of soiled linensRemove trash from unitsClean units including but not limited to bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, closets, and decksReport clean units as vacant and ready for inspectionReport unit maintenance issues as per company procedureReport damaged, dirty or stained carpets, drapes, furniture, and linensReport missing inventory and supplies to SupervisorPerform weekly guest services cleans as directedAssist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of storage closetsAttend all training sessions and perform practical application of trainingEnsure a safe working environmentAssist in solving guest complaints promptlyMaintain a high sense of urgency so units are turned on timeExperience and Qualifications:Previous experience in housekeeping preferred, but not requiredMust be able to lift 25 pounds (with or without accommodation)Ability to make decisionsPlanning and scheduling capabilitiesAbility to read, write and do basic mathPersonal timeliness be prompt with all assignmentsA passion for cleanlinessStrong work ethicAbility to learn and change behaviorWork irregular hoursWork Environment:This job operates in conditions that will include odors/dust, cleaning chemicals, and/or laundry chemicals.The Housekeeper is not limited to the above-mentioned job description and may be requested to do additional tasks as directed by MasterCorp Management.Employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions of their job.Equal Opportunity Employer Statement:We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
