Join a team pushing the boundaries of advanced composites and building the future of the industry!Position Overview:The Human Resource Manager plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organizations mission and talent strategy.Key Responsibilities:Supervisory Responsibilities (20%):Oversees and assigns the daily workflow of the HR departmentProvides constructive and timely performance evaluationsOversees discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policyDuties/Responsibilities (80%):Collaborates with senior leadership to understand and develop the organizations goals and strategies related to staffing, recruiting, and retentionCoach and advise teams on best practices and foster deep relationship to cultivate trustEmployee Relations: Maintaining positive relationships with employeesWorking closely with management to improve work relationships and moralePlans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's compliance and strategy needsAdministers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; management and leadership training; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and developmentDevelops and executes best practices for hiring and talent managementConducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organizations human resource payroll systemMonitors and ensures the organizations compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain complianceMaintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper managementCreate standard operating procedures (SOPs) and processes to streamline work flowFacilitates professional development and training activities for HR staffResearch, develop and manage relationships with benefit providers; monitor and report ongoing relationship value for the organization; provide feedback to Senior Management Team on opportunities for further value add options for the companyPerforms other duties as required/assignedMust adhere to health and safety procedures, and all workplace policiesPerform other duties as assigned.What You Will Bring to the Team:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience5+ years in human resourcesExceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindsetAdept to problem-solving and conflict resolutionExtensive knowledge of HR policies and systemsFamiliarity with HR software and working knowledge of MS OfficeExperience working in HRDetail-oriented and organizational natureUnderstanding federal HR lawsMust be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident in compliance with ITAR regulations.Our Investment in You:Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits.401(k) matching after 6 months tenurePaid time off (PTO) for vacation and sick daysEmployee referral programShift differential for 2nd shift employeesPotential to earn quarterly discretionary bonuses based on company performanceDiscounts on select services/productsClimate-controlled work environmentHours of Operation:8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends, overtime, and holidays as scheduled by leadership.
