Part Time Customer Service/Housekeeper

We are seeking part time housekeepers to join our Senior Independence Team in Rice County. Our Neighbors Helping Neighbors support services help older adults and persons with disabilities with chores and other daily activities so that they can remain living independently in their homes.

In this role you will complete the cleaning and home maintenance duties as defined in the consumers' service plan to insure home safety and cleanliness. You will develop positive communication and interactions with consumers to effectively maintain their home. You will need to complete required documentation accurately and by established deadlines.

Successful candidates must be 18 years of age or older. You must possess the ability to adequately perform assigned tasks in up to three (3) homes per day as assigned. Knowledge of general housekeeping principals and tasks that insure home safety, cleanliness and hygiene are required. The ability to work with diverse populations. A valid driver's license is preferred or dependable transportation to be able to travel within established work area. Candidates with prior background in home care or housekeeping is preferred.
