Job Type: Full-Time | 0.9 FTE or 72 hours/pp

$7,500 Sign-On Bonus available to qualified applicants

Schedule: 6 x 12-hour shifts, Varied - Nights Primarily w/some Days, (7-7's), Rotating Weekends and Holidays

54 bed acute Medical and Surgical unit (3 wings with 18 beds each). We have good support from care aides to assist in patient care. It's a fast-paced unit with admissions and discharges always happening throughout the shift.

A Med Surg RN who excels in this role:

• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
