Job Description
The Operating Room Surgical Technician is responsible for assisting surgical teams in the operating room, ensuring the availability of sterile instruments and supplies, and promoting a safe environment for patients. The role demands a broad surgical knowledge with experience in various service lines, including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma.
Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgeries.
Assist with positioning patients and preparing operating room equipment.
Ensure all necessary instruments and supplies are available and sterile.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Participate in surgical procedures across various specialties.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Broad surgical knowledge and experience in mentioned service lines.
No specific certifications are required; relevant experience will be prioritized.
